GUISE By Your Side
“By Your Side”
Writing this review makes me realize how the universe works it’s magic in bringing like minded souls together.
A short few weeks ago I made my first trip to the Uk in almost 18 months. While visiting a friends home in Liverpool I was introduced Jassy G guitarist with Liverpool pop/rock trio GUISE.
Sitting around a table enjoying the hospitality of Brian and Joan Hurst parents of Paul Hurst guitarist and driving force behind another rocking Liverpool band The jokers. There was a meeting of creative minds in the Hurst home Jassy was there as a part of a team developing on the new Jokers mini movie. More about that on another day.
Jassy skills in video creation and development are second to none as I was to discover when Jassy emailed me the bands EPK.
But back to that dinner conversation with Jassy the more we spoke the more I began to realize what a discovery I had just made .
GUISE is a band that has come around at exactly the right time. Their music is full of energy, excitement. and most importantly FUN. I’m old enough to remember the exciting glory days of bands like Slade and Sweet who were entertainers in every sense of the word, they cast a magical spell that took us away from the every day existence and pressure of daily living.
By Your Side the new single from GUISE it brings the magic back that’s been missing from our lives for so long.
Jassy G on lead guitar. Louie James on Lead Vocals, and Michael Berry on Bass guitar and backing vocals.
Remember these names because like another band from Liverpool who took us on a magical mystery tour all those years ago. GUISE have started the magic all over again and we are gonna by their side all the way!
