Riffin’ The Blue

Tas Cru “Riffin’ The Blue” is a set of eleven Tas Cru Originals. Featured alongside Tas on two tracks is guitarist Mike Zito. Keyboardist Bruce Katz is featured on all songs except for one with organist Bill Barry. The wonderful overall sound is rounded out by the rhythm section of Bob Purdy bass and Andy Hearn drums. Also contributing on one track each are drummer Lenny Milano and percussionist Ron Keck.

The only co-written track with Mary Ann Casale is “Miss This Man” who also provides additional harmony throughout the recording. Tas’ solo on “One More Time” is especially nice. The album is dedicated to the memory of both Wolfgang Multer and Ken Johnson.
