Stuart Blance is a Scottish singer-songwriter and photographer who began his musical career in 1999. Beyond his musical pursuits, Blance is also recognized for his work as a landscape and events photographer, underscoring his broader artistic sensibilities.   His debut CD, „Utopia,“ was released in 2001, and he has since released singles and an EP.  Blance’s musical style is primarily acoustic, with contemplative lyrics that offer messages of hope and optimism, blending folk, Americana, pop, and rock. He has been compared to classic artists like Elton John and Fleetwood Mac. His brand new EP, „Fringe Benefits,“ with track titles like „As Scottish as Haggis,“ „Shine,“ and „The Joker,“ is the best example for his Scottish heritage and uplifting themes.

The new EP is a true firework of optimism and I think that is exactly what we need in times like these.  Stuart sings about life, love and friendship and about how it’s worth believing in yourself.  Best example is the first song ‚Shine‘ because what is better than starting the day with a firm belief in yourself ?
