Origami Heart

Satin is a four-piece band from Los Angeles, California. Band members: Robert Cross, vocals / guitar David Bucci, lead guitar Scott Wintermute, bass Tim Frantz, drums

They released their debut album “Drop Dead Gorgeous” in 2019 and started the production for the second album “Origami Heart” shortly before the lockdown due to the pandemic and one of the harshest in California that made it difficult to work on. So the release was delayed but I can promise you it was worth the wait.

13 great songs, each one unique and varied, no uniformity!

Starting with the title song “Origami Heart”, a song in the style of a rock classic and after a short listening, you are “hooked”.

“Sabotage”, played great with a brilliant solo and a melody that goes straight to your ears and immediately afterwards “My Every Nightmare”, a song with haunting lyrics and haunting sound are just as fascinating songs as “Counterfeit”, melody and vocals remind me a bit of the synthpop heroes of the 80s, great!

And finally “Fearless”, a successful conclusion to a successful album, a tuneful melody and a pleasure to listen to.These are just a few of the songs and you should definitely check out the whole album. “Satin” presents us classic rock implementedi in a modern way, never boring and every song keeps the excitement of what comes next.
