British-born and now based in the United States, Matt Schofield has spent his career redefining and expanding the boundaries of British Blues. A multi-award-winning guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, and bandleader, Schofield has been performing for more than 30 years, with over 20 years dedicated to his solo career. Widely recognized as one of the most distinctive and influential guitarists of his generation, his impact on the global blues scene is undeniable.

His career has taken him and his band across nearly 30 countries, earning both critical and industry acclaim along the way. Among his many honors are three “British Blues Guitarist of the Year” awards, “British Blues Album of the Year,” and the distinction of being the first guitarist inducted into the “British Blues Awards Hall of Fame.” Mojo Magazine named one of his releases “Blues Album of the Year,” while Guitar & Bass Magazine listed him among the “Top Ten British Blues Guitarists of All Time,” alongside legends like Eric Clapton and Peter Green.
