Based in London, Ontario, The Joel Dupuis Band is a powerhouse three-piece delivering high-energy, no-nonsense, straight-ahead rocking blues. Winners of London Blues Band of the Year 2024 and Guitar Player of the Year 2024, they’re known for explosive performances, soulful original songs, and bold, modern spins on classic favorites.

At only 23, Joel Dupuis has already carved out a serious presence on the Southern Ontario music scene, playing everywhere from local clubs to major festivals in Thorold, Toronto, Kincardine, and London. In January 2025, he represented the Canada South Blues Society (Windsor) on the world stage at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Joel has performed alongside Scott Holt (Foghat), The Cashbox Kings (Top 10 Blues Album of 2017), JW-Jones (JUNO nominee), and Pat Harrington (Victor Wainwright and The Train, Grammy nominee), and has toured with Memphis heavyweights Ghost Town Blues Band (#1 Billboard Blues Album 2019, B.B. King International Entertainer of the Year).

On bass, Patrick Leduc anchors the band with a thick, rock-solid low end that drives the music with power and precision.

Behind the kit, Joel Jacobs attacks the drums with ferocity and feel—“like they owe him money”—fueling the band’s high-octane sound.
