Jeremy Green is a Canadian guitarist, composer and producer. His music, like the title of this album, is always energy-driven, exciting, and “In Motion.”

Green’s premier album, “Standing Eight” established him as a Toronto-based, strong fusion guitarist with a bit of Rock and Roll to his style and a taste of R&B blended into his arrangements. “In Motion” continues that premise.

He surrounds himself with a lot of hard rocking players who know how to lay down “fire” rhythm sections. Green’s original title tune, has the ample assistance of Will Lee on bass, who locks the groove tightly in place with Keith Carlock’s drums.  The arrangement is buoyed by the additional guitar solo of Mark Lettieri.

This is an instrumental album with super high energy.  I appreciate the excitement I hear in every tune on this album.  His song called, “The 55” (a tribute to New York’s defunct 55 Bar in Manhattan), Tim Lefebvre is the pumping hot guest bassist, Mike Stern adds an incredible guitar solo, and Chase Baird inspires, soaring on his saxophone during the mix.

Bassist Rich Brown is royally featured on “Where the Sun Shines the Brightest.”  This arrangement steps into the fusion realm, where the drums of Keith Carlock absolutely spur and powerhouse this arrangement onto the rock music stage.

Jeremy Green plays a mean guitar throughout. His choice of adding other guitar players, who bring their magic to the party, adds another dimension to this music.

If fusion and rock music are your preference, this is definitely an album for your collection.
