Making a Scene Brings you an Interview with Kirk Nelson!

Kirk Nelson has been “showing off” since his first piano recital at a very young age. Having a long career as a professional musician with countless appearances he has shared the stage and recorded with many legends such as Buddy Guy, James Cotton and Bo Diddley to more contemporary artists like The Neville Brothers, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Robert Cray.

The video bio brings us up to 2014 where Kirk continued playing with other bands until the release of the solo album “Collectibles” in 2018. Next, the album “Lagniappe” was released along with the band Jambalaya West. The album was voted #1 for Jazzy Blues for the year 2022 on RMR’s chart. (Roots Music Report)

After releasing two follow-up singles in 2022 the band has just released a new album Called “Savor The Moment” which getting global airplay and currently charting.
