Making a Scene Presents an Interview with Ahad Farooqui of GutBust

Originating in 2016 as a power violence/beatdown duo: Guitarist Ahad Farooqui and Drummer Jack White came together in their early mid-Teens to create what became GutBust. After one year of creative endeavors and one demo release, GutBust disbanded in Early January 2017 due to both members choosing to go in separate musical directions. Ultimately, they regrouped in March 2023 as a beatdown/hardcore project with the addition of Josiah Garcia completing the overall Sound dynamic.

The New EP “No Guts No Glory” released in September of 2023 is GutBust’s latest project currently streaming on all services. It encapsulates an eclectic variety of styles and energy fueled by hard hitting Drums, harsh lyrics, bouncy base lines and crushing guitar riffs.
