Making a Scene Brings you Gerry Casey’s Interview with Jonny Driver
Over the last decade Melbourne based musician/songwriter Jonny Driver has released six albums and three EPs in bands such as Uptown Ace, The Devilrock Four, Don Fernando and The Lightning Strikes.
In 2019 he flew to New Orleans, Louisiana to spend two weeks with producer Rick G Nelson, owner of Marigny Studios and member of The Afghan Whigs. The result of these sessions turned out to be Driver’s debut offering under his own name; a ten-track album entitled ‘A Ghost of Hope’.
A sonic departure from all his previous work, ‘A Ghost of Hope’ is set for release September 2020 with shows to follow as soon as the world is up and running again.
