Katy was born and raised in London, UK, but over the past dozen-plus years she’s become one of Minnesota’s busiest and most recognizable musicians. Blending melodic pop-folk songwriting with the twang and drive of an Americana band, Katy delivers songs that are hooky, heartfelt, and built to connect—whether she’s playing an intimate room or a big outdoor stage.

Her live résumé spans both sides of the Atlantic. Katy has performed at festivals throughout the Midwest and the UK, including the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain, The Grand Northern Ukulele Festival, Taste of Minnesota, Stars of the North, Big Turn Fest, and Hazelfest. Along the way, she’s earned a reputation as an engaging performer with a warm, crowd-friendly presence and a songwriter’s ear for lines that stick.

Katy’s record Suit of Hearts marked a major milestone, earning recognition as a Top Ten Album of the Year from the Star Tribune—a nod to both her songwriting and her growing impact in the Minnesota music scene.

Now she’s entering a new chapter with a bigger, bolder sound. Her newest project, Favourite Girl, introduces a full rock band lineup while keeping the same strong songwriting at the center. The debut single “Favourite Girl” arrived in September 2024, followed by “Not Going Back” in January 2025—two releases that signal a confident step forward and a new era of energy, volume, and attitude.
