Stella Cole joins the huge list of jazz singers who record their rendition of the Great American Songbook.  This EP contains only three songs, but all three are appropriate for celebrating Valentine’s Weekend and the American month of love, February.

Her EP release follows Cole’s charming take on The Carpenter’s “Merry Christmas Darling” tune plucked from the album, “It’s Magic.”

On this newly released EP, she gives us her take on “You Go To My Head” backed by acclaimed pianist, Alan Broadbent, bassist Michael Migliore, and Hank Allen-Barfield on drums.

Cole also intimately delivers “The Nearness of You,” eliminating drums and using only bass and piano as her accompaniment.   Her voice is both stunning and memorable.
