Samara Joy LIVE AT PHILHARMONIE DE PARIS
SAMARA JOY
LIVE AT PHILHARMONIE DE PARIS
A Concert Review
As Samara Joy tours the world, promoting her “Portrait” album, she recently wow’d the crowds in Paris at the Philharmonie de Paris. This concert is spectacular! I encourage you to sit back and enjoy it.
Samara Joy, only twenty-five years-old, yet brings her talent to the table like a very old soul. She brings back memories of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Morgana King, all wrapped into one stunning package. Her vocal acrobatics are on display during this wonderful concert, propelled by both range and technique.
You will enjoy her fresh take on “Day by Day.” The band swings and so does Ms. Joy. She slides onto a barstool to sing the ballad “I’ve Got It Bad and That Ain’t Good.”
You will be gifted with two hours of phenomenal singing during a spectacular concert. That’s a very challenging amount of time for any singer to perform. Samara Joy combines old school influence with contemporary, twenty-first century style. Her ensemble has a rich, full sound. They complement the singer. Each outstanding musician brings a special talent of their own to the program.
I believe an album of this live concert is in the works to be released some time in the winter of 2026. This concert gives you a captivating preview of Samara Joy’s brilliance and exceptional talent.
