Making a Scene Presents Gerry Casey’s Interview with Georgina White

Georgina is a BBC Introducing recording artist and singer/songwriter. She released her debut single, Misfits in November 2021 to critical acclaim and has since released originals LOVE, Not Your Baby, Healer and covers of You Don’t Own Me and  I Will Survive (both no1 Chart of Gold 2023).

LOVE and her latest festive classic It’s Christmas Time Tonight (written/produced by Steve Simmonds) have been played by BBC Introducing. Georgina’s latest collaboration with Steve Simmonds, a cover of Iron Maiden’s rock classic Hallowed Be Thy Name is out on 2nd May 2025 with a short film under the same title. Georgina’s music is played regularly on global radio stations and is available on music platforms worldwide. Georgina is signed to Creative and Dreams Music Network in Nashville, USA and she is loving working with songwriter/producer John Carr and legendary music entrepreneur Freddy Cannon.

Georgina is also a multi instrumentalist, playing keys, tenor sax and bassoon and is the creator of vocal harmony trio The Sass Sisters. She recently arranged and performed a musical advert for Emma Thompson’s exhibition at Jane Austen’s House.
