Just a quick update on Eddie Tigner, who I know Atlanta area blues fans have had on their minds. After being hospitalized with pneumonia, Mr. Eddie is recovering at Dekalb Medical Center. Word from Danny “Mudcat” Dudeck is that he “is busting to get out to the bandstand!” We are busting to have him back, too!
The Nick Moss Band is at Blind Willie’s. Dr. Dixon is at Fat Matt’s and The Juke Joint Dukes are at Meehan’s Public House in Sandy Springs. Barry Richman is at Nik’s Place in Marietta and Cody Matlock is at Northside Tavern. The Larry Griffith Band is at the Fish Fry at Stagga Lees Goodtime Emporium and The Sweet Tea Project with Ed Roland is at The Vista in Decatur.
